What is practiced here
Pilates on the reformer is the heart of this studio. Nearly all of the classes follow this method, using the sliding carriage and springs to build control and strength through the whole body. Essential Reformer is one of the classes you will see most often, and it is a clear place to start.
For people who want more movement, Cardio Tramp Reformer adds a faster pace. Active Ageing Reformer is designed for people aged 60 and over, and makes up about a fifth of the classes.
The shape of the week
Most classes run in the morning, between 10:30am and midday, with a smaller share around 12:30pm. There are no evening classes and none before 9am, so the timetable suits people who can practice during the day. Thursday, Friday and Tuesday carry the most classes.
Each class lasts about an hour. The studio is led by a small team of facilitators, with Elettra Piaggi, Clare Chamberlain, Natalie Wright and Charlotte Vanden Hil teaching the most classes. None of the classes require a pass, so you can book individual sessions directly.
