About KLM Studios

KLM Studios is a Pilates studio in East Wickham, where most of the timetable is reformer Pilates in small groups. The classes are built around core strength, control and breath, and they suit people who are new to the reformer as well as those who want a steady practice. Alongside the reformer there are mat Pilates, hatha and yin classes for slower, more restorative sessions.

Reformer Pilates and slower practice

Most of the classes here are Pilates, and reformer Pilates is the main style. KLM Basics introduces the principles of the method on the reformer, and KLM Elevate is a small group class that can be adjusted to your experience, with a balanced full-body focus on core strength, control and flow. KLM Basics (Ladies Only) offers the same beginner introduction for women who would like a women-only group.

For a gentler pace, KLM Flow is a mat Pilates class that works on breath, alignment and posture, and KLM Yin holds postures for several minutes to build flexibility and a sense of stillness. KLM Hatha slows the movement down further, with attention on alignment and breath.

How the week runs

Most classes are in the morning, with the earliest starting at 6am and the busiest start times at 8am, 8:30am and 9am. Evening classes make up about a third of the week, with 6pm among the busiest starts and the latest class beginning at 8pm. Weekend classes are a smaller part of the timetable.

At KLM Studios classes are booked individually, so it is worth checking the timetable on the studio's website at klmstudios.co.uk before you plan a visit.
