What you will practice

Yoga is the most common practice here, making up about a third of the classes, with Pilates and mat Pilates close behind. Flow, gentle, restorative and power yoga sessions give you a range of pace and intensity, and a few classes lean toward core and pelvic floor work, mobility and stretch. Vinyasa appears only rarely.

The dance and strength classes, including WERQ Dance Fitness, Functional Training Circuit and Afro-Caribbean Heat, bring a different energy, and TRX Yoga and Abs & Glutes Yoga blend strength with the mat.

How the week runs

Classes gather most around midday, with the busiest starts at noon, 12:30pm, 1pm and 5:30pm. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday carry the most sessions, and weekend classes are few. Early mornings from 8:30am and evening sessions up to 7pm offer other options when the day allows.

The facilitators Claire, Lisa, Deanna, Ayana, Michi, Cheryl, Amy, Hope, Jasslean and David teach the most classes, and a couple of dozen facilitators lead the schedule across a handful of studios.
