A family-centered program

The studio's program is built around the youngest members of a household. Yoga is the main thread, with classes like Little Monkeys, Yogi Bears and Family Zooga Yoga inviting children and adults to move, balance and breathe side by side. Alongside them sit music classes such as Zoo Jam and Zoo Música, which move between English and Spanish, plus dance, creative movement, gymnastics and beginning soccer for the ages in between.

The classes are led by a team of about ten facilitators. Dani, Claire and Marit lead many of the sessions, and Captain Dan, Arianna and Michelle are also regular names on the schedule.

When the classes run

Most classes take place in the morning, and the busiest start times cluster around 9:30am, 10am and 10:30am. There is a smaller block of classes in the afternoon, with 3:30pm among the common starts, and the latest class begins at 4pm. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are the days when the schedule is fullest, and about a fifth of the classes fall on weekends.

Because nearly all the classes are about 45 minutes long, a visit fits easily into a morning with small children.
