Reformer work at the core

The Reform Room's timetable is built around reformer Pilates. Most classes are labeled reformer and Pilates, and many focus on core and pelvic floor strength. A smaller set of restorative and yoga classes sits alongside them for slower, calmer sessions. Titles such as Reformer Flow (All Levels), Intermediate Reformer and Reformer HIIT show the range, from accessible flow work to higher intensity. Jump Board classes add another layer for those who want something more energetic.

The studio runs well over a hundred classes in the next few weeks, nearly all of them 45 minutes long. That consistent length makes it easy to fit a session into a lunch break or before the working day begins.

When the classes run

Morning is when most people practice here, with more than half of the classes starting before noon. The busiest start times are 9am, 10am and 8am, and Thursday, Friday and Monday see the most classes. Evening sessions make up about a fifth of the week, with the latest class starting at 7pm. The earliest start is 7am, so the day can begin on the reformer.

About ten facilitators lead the classes, and Jess Cain, Kylie Bockholt and Batie Favro are among those teaching the most. Classes are held across a handful of studios in the area, so the timetable stays steady throughout the week.
