FABINESA is a dance studio in Sendling, where heels, jazz and modern dance fill most of the week. Its classes run mostly in the evening, which makes it a place to move after work. Alongside the dance programme, a few yoga and meditation classes give the studio a quieter side.

What is taught at FABINESA
Heels dance is the centre of the programme here. Beginner Heels is designed as a first step into the style, with a focus on confidence and technique, and High Heels is the next class for those who want more energy. Jazz and modern dance classes run for both adults and children, with separate groups for ages from six to fifteen.
The studio also offers a small set of yoga and meditation classes. One of them combines yoga, ecstatic dance and meditation in an eighty minute session, a longer format than most of the schedule.
When classes run
The studio's evening schedule is where most of the classes are. The busiest start times are between 6:30pm and 8:30pm, and Tuesday, Thursday and Monday hold the most classes. Earlier starts from 4pm are less common, and there are no classes before 9am, at midday or at weekends.
Classes last an hour in most cases, which makes a session easy to fit around work. Most lessons are taught in German, with one of the yoga and meditation sessions offered in Russian.
