What the classes focus on
Reformer Pilates runs through the studio's timetable and makes up most of its classes. The reformer offers springs and a sliding carriage, so the work can be adjusted to different strength levels. Classes such as Reformer Foundation, Reformer Strength and Reformer Full Body each carry a different emphasis, from basics and technique to controlled loading and whole-body work.
Beyond the reformer, the studio offers mat Pilates, Pilates meets Yoga, Shapes and Functional Circuit. Several classes focus on core and pelvic floor work, and some add a dynamic element, such as Reformer Jump & Sweat, which uses a jumpboard on the reformer.
How the week runs
The timetable leans toward the morning. Classes begin as early as 6:30am, and the Early Bird and Good Morning sessions are built to start the day. Activity picks up again around midday and in the early evening, and Reformer Late Night closes the day at 8pm.
Weekends carry a steady share of classes as well, so the studio can be used around a working week. The studio's facilitators, about ten in total, lead most of the timetable between them, with Constance, Vanessa and Johanna among those with the most classes.
