What the classes are

Pilates is the backbone of the schedule, with classes in warm and hot rooms. The hot classes add deeper core work, props and light weights, while the warm mat classes take a more classical, grounded route through the same sequences.

Sculpt classes blend Pilates precision, yoga-inspired mobility and circuit-style training. They are fast and full body, using light weights and low-impact but powerful sequences. A handful of yoga sculpt and vinyasa classes sit alongside them, along with breathwork, sound bath and restore sessions.

How the week runs

Morning is the most common time to practice here, and about a third of classes begin before 9am. Midday offers short reset classes, and the evening timetable picks up after 5:30pm with starts through 6:45pm.

The studio's schedule is built around a steady, busy week rather than long weekends. Most people practice on the middle days of the week. Classes are usually 50 minutes long, and the studio also runs a 300 minute teacher training for those who want to go deeper into sequencing and cueing.

Rise Room NYC: questions and answers
