Friday release in Oslo
Friday evening in Oslo is when many studios fill their last classes of the week. This collection gathers the reformer Pilates, yoga and Bikram classes that start after work and run into the evening. The mix leans toward reformer work with a strong, focused pace, and a few calmer yin and restorative classes sit alongside it for the end of a long week.
Where to start: Energii National - Reformer Pilates in Sentrum, Energii Colosseum - Reformer Pilates in Majorstuen nord or SPACE Pilates Frogner in Uranienborg
It suits you if
- you want a strong class after work
- you like the precision of reformer Pilates

What the Friday evening looks like
The collection is built around the evening. Most of the classes start between 5pm and 6:30pm, and the busiest start times cluster around 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 6:30pm. Friday is the day when the most classes gather, which makes it a natural point for letting the week go.
Most of the classes are reformer Pilates, and many are described as strong. Core and pelvic floor work appears in about a third of them, with yoga, focus-led sessions and Bikram classes filling out the rest.
Where the classes are
Energii National in Sentrum and Energii Colosseum in Majorstuen nord both offer reformer classes with names like Signature Reformer and Classic Reformer Pilates. Classic Reformer works at a slower tempo with softer music, with the focus on doing each movement carefully. SPACE Pilates Frogner in Uranienborg offers Essential and Power reformer classes, and SPACE Pilates Barcode in Bispevika runs an Intensify class.
For a calmer close, The Sage Wellness Centre in Sagene offers yin yoga, and Bikram Yoga Oslo in Homansbyen runs its 90-minute Bikram class.
