How the week runs

Most of the schedule begins before 9am, with a good share of classes starting in the early morning and a steady run of sessions through the late morning. Busy start times cluster around 8:20am and 9:30am, and the evening offering is smaller, with classes starting as late as 7:20pm. Midday is left free, so the studio suits people who practice before work or after the working day.

The weekly peak falls on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, when most of the sessions are scheduled.

What practice looks like here

Nearly every class carries a strong, energetic focus, and about half draw on strength training and core and pelvic floor work. Pilates is the main practice, with reformer flows and mat sessions alongside sculpt and bounce formats such as POWER SCULPT and BOUNCE JUMP & TONE. The studio's facilitators include Viridiana, Brenda, Dariana, Majo, Genesis, Carolina and Aimee, who lead the largest share of the classes.

N1 STUDIO PILATES: questions and answers

When do most people practice at N1 STUDIO PILATES?

Most classes run in the morning, and about a third start before 9am, with busy starts at 8:20am and 9:30am. Evening classes make up about a fifth of the timetable, with a common start at 7:20pm, and there are no midday classes. Most practice on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

What kind of classes does N1 STUDIO PILATES offer?

The studio's classes are mostly strength-led Pilates, with reformer work in about a third of them and core and pelvic floor themes in about half. Sessions such as SCULPT AND STRENGTH TRAINING, TRX SCULPT and POWER SCULPT add a more active, sculpting feel. Themed reformer and mat classes, like the WITCH VIBES series, sit alongside the regular flows.

How long are the classes?

Most of the classes are about 55 minutes long, while the reformer flows run closer to 50 minutes. The shorter flows suit a lunch-hour or early start, and the longer sessions give more time for strength and sculpt work.

Is N1 STUDIO PILATES good for beginners?

Yes, the classes are strength-focused and move at an active pace, so many people who are new to Pilates start with a mat or reformer flow to learn the basics. Classes are led by a team of about ten facilitators, including Viridiana, Brenda, Dariana and Majo.

Where is N1 STUDIO PILATES located?

The studio is at 4100 Bonita Road in Bonita, California. It is one of a handful of studios in the San Diego area with a regular schedule of Pilates and strength classes, and its facilitators lead dozens of sessions each month.
