What the studio offers
Aura Recovery Studio builds its week around strength, Pilates and core work. Strength, core and Pilates classes make up a large share of the timetable, with yoga close behind. Classes labeled Release, Empower and Restore sit beside them, so a session can lean toward building effort or toward softer, more restorative movement.
The quieter side of the studio is found in Yin, Calm, Meditation, Breathwork and Sound Bath sessions, which appear less often but give a different texture to the week. Gong and bowls, along with a small number of hot yoga sessions, round out the offer.
How the week runs
Classes run across the week with a clear rhythm. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are the busiest days, and many people come in before 9am or in the early evening. Weekend classes are fewer, with about one in ten falling on a Saturday or Sunday.
Most classes last about 45 minutes, with longer 60-minute sessions for yin, meditation, breath and sound work and hot yoga. Amy, Angela, Libbie and Mina lead the largest number of classes, so the studio has a steady core of familiar facilitators.
