The BÅL classes
BAL MAT's core offering is the BÅL METHOD, a 50-minute mat class inspired by the studio's signature Megacore workout. It brings the same ideas of conscious strength into a mat setting, using slow, controlled movement and continuous time under tension. The BÅL PULSE class takes a different direction, pairing the precision of the BÅL Method with the energy of barre training, with high repetitions and continuous flow built around muscular endurance.
For recovery, BÅL RECOVER is a 50-minute class of mobility and deep stretching meant to sit alongside strength training. It focuses on flexibility and range of motion, which makes it a natural companion to the more demanding classes in the same timetable.
How the week runs
The studio's classes are spread across the day, with about a third starting in the morning and about half in the evening. Starts range from 7:50am to 8:30pm, and a smaller number of classes run at midday or on weekends. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays tend to be the busiest days, and common start times include 10am, 6:25pm, 7:30pm and 3:05pm.
With about ten facilitators, Steffi, Susi, Leonie, Crysta, Ariane and Eli lead many of the classes, and Manuel teaches in English. Classes are sold individually rather than through a pass.
