What a class is like
The studio's classes are almost all reformer pilates. Most are marked for all levels, so a beginner and someone with years of practice can share a session. The strongest focus is on the core, the pelvic floor and flexibility, and sessions tend to be strong in energy. A few classes take a softer approach, with calm or release themes and breathwork, and one of the example classes pairs the reformer with candlelight and guided breathing.
The example classes last 55 minutes, which is the usual length here. Facilitators include Catharina, who teaches in English, along with Kristina, Naya, Hannah M., Melisa, Hannah W., Nadja, Nika, Antonia and Jacqueline.
How the week runs
Most classes fall in the morning, with about half the schedule before midday and about a fifth before 9am. Evenings make up roughly a third of the classes. Weekends carry about a fifth of the schedule, and midday is the quietest part of the day. The busiest start times are 8:15am, 4:15pm, 5:30pm and 6:45pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are the days when the studio runs the most classes.
For anyone building a week around practice, the early morning and the early evening are where the schedule is densest. Classes are offered at a steady pace across these windows.
