A studio built around the back

The studio is built around the back, and nearly all of its classes take that as their focus. Sessions combine strength, mobility and stretch in a balanced way, moving through a full arc of tension and release in each class. The studio describes its approach as working toward a strong, mobile and pain-free back, and its teachers guide each session with a calm, clear voice.

Beyond the back focus, most classes are open to all levels, which makes the studio approachable for people who are returning to movement or just starting out.

When and how classes run

The studio's week leans toward the evening, when more than half of its classes begin. Mornings form the next busiest stretch, with classes starting as early as 7:30am and roughly a fifth of all sessions beginning before 9am. Wednesday, Monday and Thursday carry the most classes, and 6pm and 7:30pm are among the most common start times.

All classes run for 60 minutes. For people who want a regular rhythm, the semester courses on the mat offer a set of 18 sessions across the autumn and winter season, with a flexible option to join online. Nina, Lena and Michaela lead the largest share of the timetable.

Rückenglück Training: questions and answers

What kind of classes does this studio teach?

Most of the classes at this studio are for the back: strength, mobility and stretch, with a focus on a strong, mobile and comfortable back. Many are open to all levels, and the studio also offers a first session called Schnupperstunde im Studio, which is a way to get to know the approach before committing.

When do most people practice here?

Most classes start in the evening, and more than half of the schedule falls after 5pm. Mornings are the next busiest part of the day, with classes starting as early as 7:30am. Wednesday, Monday and Thursday are the busiest days, with 6pm and 7:30pm among the most common start times.
