Reformer classes and their levels

Reformer Pilates is the backbone of the studio. Reformer Beginner introduces the basic principles and a controlled, clean movement pattern, and Reformer Classic offers a balanced session that works for both beginners and more experienced students. Reformer Dynamic adds tempo and flow, with more intense sequences that focus on whole-body strength and the core.

The studio also runs a range of specialty classes. The Aroma Reformer Flow combines the reformer with scent, and the Halloween and 2000s music specials bring a playful energy to the usual format.

When classes run

Classes run from early morning to evening, with the earliest at 7:55am and the latest at 7:55pm. Most of the timetable falls in the evening and at weekends, and the busiest start times are in the late afternoon and early evening. Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday tend to carry the most classes.

Most sessions last 55 minutes. Pilates socks are required, and the studio asks that you arrive at least ten minutes before class begins.

VAYA HEALTH CLUB: questions and answers

Is VAYA HEALTH CLUB a good place to start Pilates?

Most of the classes are Reformer Pilates, and the studio offers a mix of levels. Reformer Beginner is built for people who are new to the reformer or want to deepen the basics, and Reformer Classic suits both beginners and more experienced practitioners. Reformer Dynamic is the faster, more demanding option.

When can I practice at VAYA HEALTH CLUB?

The earliest class starts at 7:55am and the latest at 7:55pm. Many classes fall in the evening, and a smaller share sits in the morning and at midday. Most classes last 55 minutes.

Do I need a pass to take a class?

Yes, you do not need a pass to book classes at this studio. Classes are a mix of regular reformer sessions and themed specials, such as the Halloween Music Special and the 2000s Music Special.

What kinds of classes does the studio offer?

Pilates is the main focus, and reformer classes make up most of the timetable. Some classes concentrate on core and pelvic floor work, while others are described as strong or flowing. A few themed classes pair the reformer with music, and one class, the Aroma Reformer Flow, adds scent to the practice.

Where is the studio, and who leads the classes?

VAYA HEALTH CLUB is at Friedrichstraße 6 in Vienna's Innere Stadt, the city's first district. Classes are led by a team of around ten facilitators, with Duru, Daisy and Nena among those who teach the most.
