About Birth and Soul Club

birth and soul club is a small studio in Eichwalde, just outside Berlin, built around practice for parents and the body after birth. Its week leans toward mornings, and its classes are shaped by life stages: postnatal recovery, core and pelvic floor work, and strength for mothers who want to return to movement. Alongside these, it offers breathwork, chanting and kirtan for anyone looking for a quieter, more sound-led practice.

It suits you if

  • you are returning to movement after birth
  • you prefer morning practice
  • you want to practice with your child nearby

A practice shaped around parents

Most of the classes here are postnatal courses, with about half of the offering built around the weeks and months after birth. Core and pelvic floor work and strength classes make up much of the rest, and a few breathwork sessions round out the practice. The emphasis is on rebuilding the body's center and strength gradually and with care.

For parents with babies or young children, the parent and child class offers a place to practice together. The Achtsame Elternreise is a gentle session where little ones explore the space through play while their parents move and breathe.

How the week runs

The studio runs its classes mostly in the morning. Start times range from 9:30am to 5pm, with the busiest starts at 9:30am, 10am and 5pm. Most sessions take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and only a small share fall on weekends.

A handful of facilitators lead the classes, with Kerstin and Lisa teaching the most. The space is run by a small team, and the classes are built to suit the rhythms of families.
