Prices, memberships and good to knowHow to book, what to bring, getting thereAbout Urban Hybrid Space
Urban Hybrid Space is a studio in the Graefekiez in Kreuzberg, where the timetable leans toward strength and mobility rather than a single yoga style. Most classes are taught in German, and the day runs from morning starts through to the evening, with the most sessions after 6pm. The mix of practices, from Smai Tawi to functional strength and postnatal training, makes it a place to come back to for different needs.
It suits you if
- you want strength and mobility work
- you prefer German-language classes
- you train in the evening after work

What the classes cover
The studio's classes are built around strength, with about half of them focused on it, alongside gentle sessions and mobility-based work. You will find full-body training with light dumbbells, functional movement that reflects everyday patterns, and a back-focused class that works on the core and the muscles along the spine. Smai Tawi, a practice that connects flowing movement, breath and body control, is one of the few offerings that sits closer to yoga.
A few classes are designed for specific life stages, including a postnatal strength class for mothers and sessions that combine cardio dance with weight-based training. Most classes last 50 minutes, which makes them easy to fit between other commitments.
Who leads and when
Most of the classes are taught in German, with a smaller share offered in both German and English. The studio has about ten facilitators, and Bucci, Büny, Segun, Shruti and Verena lead the largest number of sessions. Segun teaches the Smai Tawi practice.
The weekly rhythm is weighted toward evenings and early afternoons, with a smaller group of morning starts. Weekends are quiet by comparison. If you are planning a first visit, look for a class labeled as suitable for beginners or check the level before you book.
