What the classes are
Lagree at Pilates Evolution uses slow, controlled, spring-loaded resistance on the Megaformer. Muscles reach deep fatigue within minutes, and the studio describes this time under tension as a way to build strength, endurance and core stability without impact on the joints.
The group schedule is built around 45-minute classes, seven days a week. Most classes are Lagree, with a smaller share of mobility and stretch, Pilates and strength work. Example classes include Lagree Stretch and Lagree Sculpt.
How the week runs
Most classes take place in the morning, and more than half of the schedule starts before noon. Early starts from 5:30am are common, and the busiest start times include 6:30am and 8:30am, with noon and 4pm also popular. Evenings are lighter, with the last starts at 6:30pm.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday have the most classes. Because the studio's group classes are all 45 minutes, it is easy to fit a session around a workday.
Who leads the classes
A coaching team of about two dozen facilitators leads the classes. Ellie, Lindsey, Amanda, Lexie, Lauren, Kelly, Maria, Courtney, Whitney and Nadine teach the largest number of classes. Amanda Parrott runs the studio.
The studio's own description says the space is locally owned and that your first visit begins with a hands-on walkthrough of the machine, which suits people new to Lagree.
