Moodra Yoga Studio Firenze in San Frediano offers much of the short format, from hot yoga and vinyasa to a hot abs and glutes class in its heated room. What the short classes are
Yoga is the backbone of this collection, with more than half the classes in the practice. Many are taught in a hot room, and a good number pair yoga with a sweat-led format. Hatha, vinyasa and yin appear too, so the same collection holds slower and more dynamic sessions.
Pilates and core work make up much of the rest. Hot Pilates, mat Pilates and sessions focused on the core and pelvic floor sit alongside breathwork, which in this collection is a warmed, focused practice to close the weekend or start the week.
Studios and neighborhoods
San Frediano and San Iacopino hold the most classes in this collection. Moodra Yoga Studio Firenze in San Frediano offers the widest range, from the hot formats to the abs and glutes class. House of Nordha Pilates in San Iacopino adds a Pilates focus.
A couple of dozen facilitators lead the classes here, with Virginia Torrisi, Aurora Pettenati and Martina Vendali among those teaching most often. Classes are taught in a small number of studios, so the choice tends to come down to which room and style you prefer.

When do these classes usually start?
Classes start as early as 12am and as late as 7pm. Morning starts around 7am and the mid-afternoon start at 1:30pm are among the most common, with early evening classes around 5:30pm and 6:45pm also drawing a lot of the schedule.
Which days are busiest?
