AURA Reformer Pilates is a studio built around the reformer, the sliding bed-like apparatus of classical Pilates. Nearly every class here uses it, and the studio's range runs from calm, clearly structured sessions to fast, music-driven flows. Infrared classes add gentle warmth to the movement, so the practice here feels distinct from a mat class.
It suits you if

What you practice on the reformer
The studio's classes are mostly reformer work, and most of them carry the Pilates method at their center. Reformer Flow and Reformer Core move continuously through sequences that build control and stability. Reformer Power and the Sculpt classes, one focused on upper body and one on lower body, bring more intensity and target individual muscle groups.
The infrared classes add warmth to controlled movement and breath work. Reformer RnB Flow adds music with a clear rhythm, where the intensity builds steadily over the hour.
Where to start and who it suits
Reformer Basics is the place to begin. It is an hour long and designed to help you feel at ease on the equipment. Most classes are open to all levels, and several are aimed at experienced practitioners who want more challenge.
The studio also offers the Baby & Moms Club and a prenatal and postnatal reformer class. These are shaped for pregnancy, the weeks after birth, and parents who want to train with their child nearby.
AURA Reformer Pilates: questions and answers
What kind of classes does AURA Reformer Pilates teach?
Most of the classes at AURA Reformer Pilates are reformer classes, with Pilates at their core. Many run as flow sessions, and a good number are strength-focused. Some sessions add infrared warmth.
Is it good for beginners?
Yes. Reformer Basics is the class for people new to the reformer, held in a calm, clearly structured hour that lets you learn the equipment step by step. Several other classes are open to all levels, so a first visit doesn't have to start with the most demanding session.
When do most people practice here?
Classes run from early morning at 8am through to 8pm in the evening. Around a third of the schedule falls in the morning, about half in the evening, and a fifth at weekends. The busiest days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Are there classes for pregnancy and new parents?
Yes. The studio includes a Baby & Moms Club, a reformer class where you train with your baby beside you. There is also a prenatal and postnatal reformer class designed for pregnancy and the time after birth, with work for the pelvic floor, core and mobility.
How long are the classes?
Most classes last 50 minutes. Reformer Basics and the Baby & Moms Club run for an hour.
