What the classes focus on

Most of the timetable is pilates, with more than half of the classes built around it. Core and pelvic floor work is also a major theme, and a good share of the classes are labeled gentle or first class ever. Barre pilates adds a more rhythmic, ballet-informed option, and flying pilates offers a more playful, acrobatic take on core training.

The studio also runs a set of classes for people in their life stage: prenatal, postnatal, parent and child, and kids. These are where the studio's focus on the body after birth shows most clearly.

Who leads and how the space feels

The studio's own pages describe a team led by Tamara, who founded the studio and trains there, alongside Jule, Simone, Tina and Sina. Classes are typically 60 minutes long, with some running 75 or 85 minutes. The studio is set up as a loft, and in its own words it aims to bring body and mind into balance through steady, controlled movement.

Pilates Loft Quickborn: questions and answers

Is there something for complete beginners?

Yes, there are classes for people new to pilates. Pilates Basics is a 60-minute class built as a first step into a new body awareness, and Pilates for You runs on both Tuesday and Thursday for people trying the method for the first time or coming back to it. Gentle and first-class options make up a good share of the timetable.

Can I bring my baby to class?

Several classes are built around the years after birth. Rückbildung 9 Uhr & Baby is an 85-minute class where the baby stays close by, and Pilates & Baby focuses on postnatal training and core recovery. Baby Gym Modul 1 runs on Tuesdays and Fridays for babies, and Pilates für Schwangere is held in person at the loft for people in pregnancy.

When do most people practice here?

Most of the classes fall in the morning and in the evening. Pilates After Work on Thursdays is designed as a way to wind down after a working day. Start times range from 8:30am to 8:15pm, and the busiest start times are 7pm, 9:30am and 10:45am, with a few sessions before 9am.

Are there styles beyond classic pilates?

Yes. Pilates Loft Quickborn offers Barre Pilates, which blends the controlled movements of classic pilates with ballet-based training, and Flying Pilates Basic, a class that adds acrobatic elements to core work. Yoga and breathwork appear less often on the timetable.

Who teaches the classes?

The studio's own pages describe a team of trainers led by Tamara, with Jule, Simone, Tina and Sina also leading classes. Most classes run for about 60 minutes, and the Pilates Basics class is designed for anyone who is new to the method or returning after a break.
