How the short classes fit the day

The collection centers on early starts. More than half of the classes fall in the morning, and about half begin before 9am, with 7am, 8:30am and 9:30am the most common times. Evening classes are fewer, about one in ten, and the latest start is 5:30pm.

Most of the sessions are 45 minutes long, which makes them easy to slot in around a day. Monday, Thursday and Friday are the busiest days.

What the classes are

The biggest share of the collection is strength, movement and Pilates. La Vida Fitness & Wellness in Koloa offers Cardio Bounce, Bounce & Beats and Bounce + Build, which combine rebounding with strength or cardio. Megaformer Kauai in Lihue offers Lagree Fitness, a 45 minute class on the megaformer.

A smaller group of classes is slower and more restful, including a Somatic Breathwork & Sound Therapy session at La Vida that opens with gentle movement and moves into breathing and sound.
