What the studio offers
Most of the classes at RiseandreformUk are Reformer Pilates, with a handful of options for mixed ability, beginners and men. The sessions are usually 50 minutes long, and the focus is on controlled movement, alignment and breathing on the apparatus.
The studio leans toward people who want a structured start. The six-week Reformer Beginner Course is built for those brand new to the method, with fundamentals taught step by step.
How the week runs
Mornings carry more than half of the timetable, and early starts from 6am and 7am are among the busiest. Evenings from 6pm and 7pm also fill up, and about a third of classes fall before 9am. Midday classes are fewer, and weekend sessions make up about a fifth of the week.
The studio is led by a team of about ten facilitators, including Esther Odumade, Sammi-Jo Taylor, Abbie Horst, Helen Dunne - Abela, Georgina Latino, Ella Gibbins, Elishia Cole and Shinarah Le Blancq. Each brings their own way of teaching, so it is worth noticing who leads the class you choose.

What kind of classes does RiseandreformUk offer?
Most of the classes here are Reformer Pilates, and nearly all of the timetable is Pilates in one form or another. Is it suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Reformer Beginner is designed for newcomers, and the Reformer Men's class is an introductory session for men that covers proper form and breathing. Reformer Mixed Ability is also beginner friendly, though the class notes ask people who have never done Reformer before to check in first.
