What the classes are
The schedule at Child's Pose is built around yoga, with flow and vinyasa at the center. Flow classes link breath to movement and focus on alignment, building strength and stamina over an hour. Alongside them, Sculpt adds light weights, resistance bands and Pilates to yoga-based movement, and Mat Pilates works the core, flexibility and balance on the floor.
For a slower kind of practice, Yin holds poses for several minutes with props, and Restore offers restorative postures that open the body through passive support. A prenatal class also runs here, built around movement and community for expecting mothers.
How the week runs
Most classes start in the evening, with about half the schedule after the workday. Mornings from 9am and midday starts each make up about a fifth of the week. The busiest start times are 6pm, 7:15pm, 7:30pm and 12:30pm, and the latest class starts at 8pm.
Most classes run about 60 minutes. Mat Pilates is shorter at 45. Classes are offered across the week, with Thursday, Wednesday and Monday the busiest days.
