What the classes are
Most classes at core x fitness fall into a few familiar shapes. Core X Total Body & Arms, Core X Total Body and Core X Leg Day cover the larger muscle groups, while Core X Legs & Abs keeps the focus on the lower body and midsection. Nearly all sessions aim at the core and pelvic floor, and most are described as strong.
The studio also runs ReSculpt Mat Pilates, a shorter 45-minute class on the mat, and Core X HIIT x DJ Agency, which pairs interval work with music. Strength classes make up about a fifth of the schedule, Pilates about one in ten.
When classes run
The schedule leans early. More than half of the classes start in the morning, and about half begin before 9am, with the first class at 5am. Evenings make up about a third of the week, the latest start is 7:10pm, and midday has no classes. Weekends are quiet, with about one in ten classes.
Most classes last about 55 minutes, so a session fits easily before or after a working day. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday carry the most classes.
