A focused 60-minute practice based on the first half of the Ashtanga Primary Series. Students are guided through a traditional sequence of Sun Salutations, standing postures, seated poses, and closing postures, with attention to breath, alignment, and steady movement. This class offers the structure and rhythm of the Ashtanga method in a more accessible 60-minute format. Modifications are offered as needed, making the practice appropriate for students who are building familiarity with the Primary Series as well as experienced practitioners looking for a focused weekday practice. Some yoga experience recommended. Practice Note: This class follows a traditional Ashtanga format—no air conditioning, no music, and a recommendation to avoid drinking water during practice. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and hydrate as needed.
