How the week runs
The studio's timetable centers on the middle of the day. More than half of its classes start between late morning and mid-afternoon, and a smaller share begins early in the morning. There are no evening or weekend classes listed, so the studio suits people who can practice during the working day.
Classes are usually an hour long. The earliest starts at 7am and the latest at 2pm, with Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday carrying the most sessions.
What is taught
Pilates is the core of the studio. Reformer classes sit alongside mat work, and many are built around the core and the pelvic floor. Some classes are labeled strong, while others, like Mat Pilates 55 PLUS and the MELT and nervous system sessions, offer a slower, more supported pace.
The Healthy Bones & Healthy Backs class and the All Levels Pelvic Floor & More class are open to a wide range of bodies and experience, which makes them a sensible place to begin.
AB Sea Pilates: questions and answers
When do most people practice here?
Most classes are on weekdays, mainly from late morning to early afternoon. Noon, 1pm, 11am and 2pm are the start times that come up most. Classes run from 7am at the earliest to 2pm at the latest, and each one is usually about an hour long.
What kinds of Pilates are on offer?
Reformer Pilates is the style that comes up most often here, alongside mat Pilates. Many of the classes focus on the core and the pelvic floor, and a good number are described as strong. Several are labeled all levels, so beginners and more experienced practitioners can both find a fit.
Are there gentler classes for a slower pace?
Yes, there are several. Mat & MELT, MELT & MAT and Mat Pilates 55 PLUS are all built around nervous system regulation or gentler, more supported movement. Healthy Bones & Healthy Backs is open to all levels and works with the back in a steady, controlled way.
Who leads the classes?
Victoria Leschen, Cathy Smith, Loren D and Meghan O'Connell lead the largest share of the classes. The studio works with a small group of facilitators, so the same people appear across the week.
Where is the studio and what does it focus on?
AB Sea Pilates is at 4077 Tamiami Trail North in Naples, in the D105 unit. The studio offers a focused set of Pilates classes rather than a broad mix, so it suits someone who wants to build steady, structured practice over time.
