About Munich Poledance

munich poledance sits in Ebenau, a Munich neighborhood at Leonrodplatz, and its week is built around pole. Most of the classes are in the evening, with the early evening especially busy, and weekends carry a fair share too. The format is about technique as much as expression: combos, flexibility work, spins and climbs, with some classes that focus on one move at a time.

It suits you if

  • you want evening classes built around technique
  • you are building through pole levels step by step
  • you want flexibility and hip work alongside the pole

What the classes focus on

Most of what the studio offers is pole, taught in progressive levels. Technique and combo classes run from Level 1+ through Level 2, Level 2+ and Level 3, so you can build a sequence of moves over time. Some classes take one element at a time, such as the Master This Move sessions, where a single pole move is broken down into the techniques that lead to it.

Flexibility and mobility have their own place on the timetable. Flexibility Flow is open to all levels and is a continuous class, and there are formats that focus on the hips and stretching. These work well alongside the pole classes, especially if flexibility feels like the limit in your practice.

How the week is shaped

The week leans toward the evening. Most classes start between about 5:40pm and 7:35pm, with Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays carrying the most classes. There are a few early starts from 6am, and weekends make up a good share of the schedule, so the studio fits around a working week.

Classes last about an hour. The studio has a handful of facilitators, with Lisa, Veronika, Ivonne, Michaela, Sonja, Vivi and Isabel leading the most classes, and they work across the different levels and formats.
