Pilates, yoga and strength

Pilates is the backbone of the timetable at velvet house. Core and pelvic floor work runs through many of the classes, from the foundation course to power pilates and the spicier, faster session. Yoga follows closely, with vinyasa and flow classes that link movement to breath.

The studio also offers strength with kettlebells and resistance bands, and barre sessions for arms, legs and seat.

When classes run

Morning pilates and stretch starts the day early, and the earliest classes begin at 7:15am. Evenings are busy too, with many sessions between 5:30pm and 8pm, and 8pm is one of the most popular start times. Lunch pilates 45 gives a shorter option in the middle of the day. Tuesday, Friday and Monday see the most classes across the week.
