What you can practice
The studio's classes center on yoga, which makes up most of the timetable. Hatha yoga, gentle yoga with attention to alignment and the chakras, and morning yoga flows are all part of the regular offer. A quieter evening practice is also on the schedule for those who want to let the day go.
Beyond yoga, the studio runs a steady set of Pilates and back-focused classes. Pilates is a strengthening full-body practice with an emphasis on the abdomen, pelvic floor and back. Other classes work on total body conditioning, mobility and stretch, and strength. Latin Moves, a dance-based class with Latin American rhythms, and BODYART, a barefoot bodyweight practice, add variety to the week.
When and with whom
Most classes run for 60 minutes, with a 50-minute morning yoga class as the shortest option. Mornings make up about a third of the week and evenings about half, with the earliest class starting at 8am and the latest at 8pm. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the busiest days.
The studio has a couple of dozen facilitators. Brigitte Gnann, Constanze, Magdalena, Marion and Brigitte Bauer lead the most classes. Several classes are set aside for particular groups, including kids, postnatal practice, people over 60, and practice focused on joints and balance.
