What the classes are
Hot yoga is the style that most classes at Immerse are built on. Power yoga appears regularly as well, and a steady run of pilates-based classes sits alongside it. Hot Pilates, Hot Pilates Sculpt, Hot HIIT Pilates and Hot HIIT Sculpt bring more intensity, while Hot Yoga and Hot Power Yoga keep the focus on the practice itself.
The words you will see most often are strong, sweat, core and pelvic floor. Some classes lean into gentler territory, such as Slow Flow & Restore, Melt & Stretch and the sound-led sessions, where gong and bowls form the core of the hour.
How the week runs
Classes at Immerse begin as early as 6am, and a large share of the week falls in the morning, with about a fifth starting before 9am. Midday and evening each hold about a fifth of the schedule. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday carry the most classes, and most people practice around 7:30pm, 10:45am, 9:15am and 6pm.
Most classes last an hour. Facilitators are a large group, and a number of them lead a good share of the timetable, including Jane Sidler, Lauren Lynch, Mindy Goldstein and Deb Gehringer.
