How the week is shaped
The schedule is built around mornings and weekends. More than half the classes start in the morning, and a good share fall on Saturdays and Sundays. Evening classes are fewer, about a fifth of the week, so the studio suits people who plan their practice before the afternoon.
The most common class is yoga, followed by flow, vinyasa and strong classes. Pilates appears in several forms, including Pilates Strength & Sculpt, Pilates Power Blend and a fusion of yoga and Pilates. Classes such as Qigong for Women and Embodied Flow add variety for people who want something other than standard postures.
Who leads and who attends
Joanna Amoratis, Daffi Lipnik, Stacey Accardo, Shira Vinik, Natalie Almagor and others teach here regularly. Their classes range from vinyasa and flow to Pilates and gentle restorative work, so it is worth looking at a few of their descriptions to find a style that fits.
Classes for children and teens are part of the studio's offering, along with a men's evening class. Restorative and sound-based sessions appear occasionally and are a good option for a slower practice.
