The reformer and the Pilates work

Pilates is the main practice at Cherry Hill, and the reformer is at its center. More than half of the classes are reformer classes, from Reformer 1-2 for those starting out to Reformer Level 2 - Intermediate for those who have more experience. Alongside the reformer, there are classes that use the chair, the tower and the mat, such as Chair/Tower and Pilates Fusion Tower Mat.

A good number of classes are built around strength and the core and pelvic floor, such as CoreAlign and Strong Foundations Mat, Toys, and More. Mixed equipment classes bring several pieces of apparatus into one session, so the practice changes from one class to the next.

How the week runs

The day at Cherry Hill begins early. Most classes run in the morning, and the busiest start times are 8:30am, 9am and 10am. A smaller set of classes starts after work, between 5pm and 6pm, and there are very few at midday. A fifth of the classes happen on weekends, and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the busiest days of the week.

Because the classes are concentrated in the morning, the studio suits people who want to practice before the rest of the day starts.
