What the classes are

Most of what happens at Pacha Collective is Pilates. Mat Pilates is the style that leads, and it sits alongside the wider Pilates practice that makes up more than half of the classes. The classes are short and focused, usually around 45 minutes, which suits a practice that fits into a morning.

A smaller share of the week goes to qigong and tai chi. Breath, Energy, Flow: Qigong for Well-Being is one of the classes here, and at 60 minutes it gives more time for slow, breath-led movement than the typical Pilates session.

The shape of the week

The studio's week leans clearly into the morning. Nearly all classes start between 10am and 11am, and the earliest and latest starts both fall in that window. Weekend classes make up about a third of the schedule, and Friday and Sunday are the busiest days.

The facilitators are a small group, with Anna Calloway and Tammy Bux leading the most classes. Because the team is compact, a newcomer will likely find the same people at the front of the room across several sessions.
