A traditional studio in Redmond

Aham Yoga is in Redmond, at 8226 196th Ave NE, and the studio describes itself as traditional yoga with real personal attention. Its website says that students are never lost in a crowded room, and many people who practice here come from full and busy lives, including engineers, teachers, parents and business owners.

The studio is organized around three paths: new to yoga, already practicing, and ready to teach. Each path leads to its own set of classes, workshops and trainings, so a first visit can start with a beginner class and move toward more advanced work over time.

Classes, levels and timing

Most classes at Aham Yoga run for about an hour. The schedule holds a range of levels, including first class ever, Level 1, Level 2, Level 2 and 3, Experienced and Mixed Levels. Prenatal options appear across several levels, and Yoga Therapeutics All Levels is one of the more specialized classes on the schedule.

Evening classes make up about half of the week, with midday and morning sessions sharing the rest. Students do not need a pass to attend, as no classes are offered through a pass system.
