Practices and styles

Yoga is the core of the timetable, with roughly a third of classes. Gentle and strong classes are about equal in number, so the studio gives you a choice of pace from one session to the next. Hatha appears in several forms, and there are steady offerings in pilates and strength, particularly for the core and pelvic floor.

Meditation and calming classes make up a smaller share, including Peaceful Mind, Peaceful Body and Tranquil Tuesday. Yin and yoga nidra are also on the timetable in smaller numbers.

How the week runs

Classes run from early morning through the evening, and most of the timetable is split between mornings and evenings, with a smaller number at midday. Weekends have a modest number of classes. Most sessions are an hour, while many others are 45 minutes.

A roster of about ten facilitators leads the classes. Michelle Ganley, Andrea Graham, Nadine Bellhouse and Phoebe Harrington lead the most, and Laura Lee Connerty, Zoe Harrington and Michelle Banfield also appear often. Danielle Rawls, Sara Lynne and Sara McCready round out the group.
