Pilates and movement
Pilates is the heart of the studio, and most of its classes fall under that heading. Sha_Pilates is a particular favorite of the timetable, combining classical Pilates with elements of dance, yoga and shiatsu. Barre, strength and mobility classes add variety, and some sessions are designed around the hips, the joints or the core and pelvic floor.
A good number of classes are open to all levels, which makes the pilates offering easy to enter. Classes in pilates and barre come in a range of levels, so it is worth reading the description before booking.
Dance, and classes for children
Beyond the pilates timetable, InDancity Vienna is a dance studio with a strong line in jazz, commercial, heels and modern, as well as dancehall and tap. Jazz BEG is set at a slower pace for beginners, and Pointe (Level BEG) begins with floor barre before moving into pointe technique. Krav Maga runs as a continuing group, and a trial session is available.
Families are well served here. Tap, jazz and fun classes are arranged for children from three years old up to eleven, with a mix of ages and styles on the schedule.
