What the classes are

The studio's classes are built around Pilates in two forms. Mat Pilates uses your own body weight and a few pieces of equipment to work the core, back and hips. The reformer classes use springs to make the movement precise and adjustable, so the load can be set to the person doing it.

Most of the sessions focus on the core and pelvic floor, the back and the hips, with a steady emphasis on strength. Many of the classes are open to all levels.

How the week runs

Classes are held in the evening. Starts range from 5pm to 7:30pm, and 6:15pm and 5pm are the most common times. Tuesday is the day when most classes run. Each class lasts about 55 minutes.

The studio is a small, focused space. Nicla leads most of the sessions, so the practice has a consistent voice and a clear structure from one week to the next.
