In West Asheville Yoga’s words

Yoga Nidra is a calming meditation practice of non-doing that can be beneficial for people who want to experience deep rest, especially those who have a hard time falling or staying asleep. Yoga Nidra regulates the nervous system and can help create a foundation of peace and perspective in our challenging times. It can be particularly supportive for people experiencing symptoms of chronic pain, depression, fear, anxiety or PTSD. Using the tools of relaxation, breath, visualization, and intention, you will be guided into a liminal state of consciousness between waking and sleeping to experience presence and relaxed awareness. Yoga Nidra is practiced in stillness. No experience needed. All are welcome. Come as you are.
