About Kaizen Martial Arts

Kaizen Martial Arts sits at 58 Macy Street in Amesbury, a studio where most of the timetable is karate and other martial arts. Practice here is built around forms, sparring and the discipline of stepping onto the mat week after week. Alongside that work, a steady set of yoga and mobility classes gives the body a slower, more open counterpart.

It suits you if

  • you want to practice martial arts after work
  • you are looking for classes for children and teens
  • you enjoy mobility work alongside martial arts

What the studio teaches

The studio's classes center on karate, and the schedule covers the full range: karate forms, junior sparring, teen and adult karate, and stick and knife fighting. Beginner and intermediate junior classes sit beside advanced and black belt groups, so students can progress through the ranks in one place.

Beyond the karate core, the studio offers Buti Yoga and FxN Flow, Mobility Flow and Martial Movement. These classes work on flexibility, joint health and body control, and they give martial artists a way to train the body between harder sessions.

When classes run

Most of the studio's week falls in the late afternoon and early evening. The busiest start times are 4pm, 4:45pm, 5:15pm and 6pm, and mornings from 7:30am make up a smaller share of the schedule. Weekends are the quietest part of the week.

Classes are mostly 45 minutes long, with shorter 30-minute sessions for younger students and hour-long classes for teens and adults. That rhythm makes it easy to fit a session into a busy day.
