What the classes are
Most of what is on the schedule is yoga, and it covers a wide range. Classes labeled all levels make up about a third of the timetable, so the studio is set up for people who are new to the practice as well as those who have been on the mat for years. Alongside them run chair yoga, yin, restorative and gentle classes, plus a few stronger options such as power yoga and functional hatha.
The studio also offers classes built around particular needs, including joints and mobility, flexibility, and a calm feeling after a long day. Titles like Fascia Friday and Vin to Yin show that some sessions have a themed approach.
How the week runs
Morning is the center of the week here, with more than half of classes starting before noon and a few beginning before 9am. The busiest start times are 9:15am and 10am, and 6pm and 7:30pm carry the evening. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday tend to have the most classes, while weekends are quiet with only about one in ten classes.
The earliest class starts at 8:30am and the latest at 7:30pm. Most sessions run about 60 minutes, so an hour is usually enough for a practice that fits around work.
