The practices and the feel of a session
The heart of the studio is hot yoga. Flow, ground, power and slow flow classes all run in the heat, and together they account for most of the timetable. Ground and slow flow move at a patient pace, while power and flow bring more intensity and sweat. Strength, pilates flow and the witching hour power class add variety for those who want something different from a standard class.
The quieter side of the schedule is smaller but present. Calm classes and a short meditation of about half an hour give a counterpoint to the more physical sessions, and the rest in peace flow offers a gentler way through a practice.
How the week runs
Mornings are the studio's strongest window, with about a third of classes in the morning and a first start at 6am. The busiest start times are 9am and 6am, and noon and 5:30pm also draw regular groups. Evening classes run until 7pm, and the week leans most heavily toward Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
The schedule is built around about an hour per class, so a visit fits neatly between work and the rest of the day. Weekend classes are fewer, and the studio's pattern is clearest on weekday mornings and early evenings.
Waves Yoga Studio: questions and answers
What kind of classes are offered at Waves Yoga Studio?
Most classes at waves yoga studio are hot yoga, and more than half of the classes are built around sweat. Flow, ground, power and slow flow are the names you will see most often, each about an hour long. Strength, pilates flow and a short meditation sit alongside them for a different kind of session.
When do most people practice at Waves Yoga Studio?
The day starts early here. About a fifth of the classes begin before 9am, and the first class of the day starts at 6am. Mornings hold about a third of the schedule, with the busiest start times at 9am and at 6am. Evenings run until 7pm, and about a fifth of the classes fall in the evening.
Which days are busiest at this studio?
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the days when the most classes run. Midday and weekend classes are fewer, with about one in ten classes falling in each of those windows, so the studio's rhythm leans toward mornings and early evenings.

Slower options such as the rest in peace flow and the calm classes are also on the schedule.
