About DoJumps Loft

DoJumps Loft is a studio in Lierenfeld, and its signature is the Do Jumps Workout, a cardio session done in spring shoes that take the impact off the joints. Alongside it you will find barre, strength, flexibility and stretch classes, and a postnatal program for mothers-to-be and new mothers. The studio is a good place to find movement that is firm and focused without being hard on the body.

It suits you if

  • you want strength work that is gentle on the joints
  • you are pregnant or recently postnatal
  • you like structured classes that alternate effort and rest

What the studio practices

The Do Jumps Workout is the practice most associated with this studio. It is an endurance session on spring shoes, each weighing up to 2.5 kilograms, designed to be easy on the joints while still working the body hard. Barre classes build on this with held positions that strengthen the deeper muscles across the whole body.

The rest of the timetable leans toward strength, flexibility and mobility. Fly Stretching works with soft fabric slings that support the body while it stretches, a calm counterpart to the more active classes.

The shape of the week

Classes are spread across the morning and the evening, with none at midday or before 9am. The busiest starts fall at 10am, 9:45am, 6:45pm and 7:45pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Monday carry the most classes, and weekends are quiet by comparison.

Most classes run for 60 minutes. The facilitators who lead the most sessions are Anastasiya Hänsel, Hanna, Alena and Lisa, and the studio is a small team that works closely with the classes it offers.

What kinds of classes does DoJumps Loft offer?

Most classes are strength, and there are also postnatal classes, flexibility, mobility and stretch work, barre, and gentle sessions. Many of the classes are built around the Do Jumps Workout, a cardio session on spring shoes that each weigh up to 2.5 kilograms.

When do most people practice here?

Classes run through the morning and into the evening, with none at midday or before 9am. Starts are busiest at 10am, 9:45am, 6:45pm and 7:45pm, and Tuesday, Thursday and Monday are the busiest days. About one in ten classes falls on a weekend.

Is it suitable for beginners?
