Center of Om sits on East Genesee Street in Baldwinsville, a small studio in the Hudson Valley where yoga and sound sit side by side. The schedule leans toward mornings and evenings, with a steady run of classes that move from gentle restorative work to flowing practice and gong-led sound sessions. It is a place to slow down, stretch and listen.
It suits you if
- you prefer slower, restorative practice
- you want yoga paired with sound and gong

What the practice looks like
Yoga is the core of what happens here, with restorative, yin, slow flow and fundamental flow classes making up much of the timetable. Restore, Restorative and Yin sessions give a long, quiet hold for the body, while Flow and Slow Flow move with the breath at an easy tempo.
Alongside the postures are sound-based practices. Invigorating Yoga and Sound pairs movement with live tones, and sound bath classes use gong and bowls for a lying-down, listening session. Balance and Breathe and Maha Shakti add a breath-led focus to the mix.
How the week runs
Classes run from 9:30am through 7pm, with most starts clustered around 6pm and 5:30pm in the evening. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday are the busiest days, so those are the times when the room tends to fill. Most sessions last about 75 minutes, which leaves room for a full arc of warm-up, practice and rest.
The studio's roughly ten facilitators share the teaching across these times, and classes are offered in a range of styles so a newcomer can find an entry point. Practitioners who need a midday session will find little here, as classes do not run at that hour.
