What the classes work on
The classes in this collection focus on the back first, with neck, shoulders and hips close behind. Pilates santé du dos at Mouvement Humain is built around slow movement for the lower back, and Yoga Sangha's Sangha Flow blends hatha precision with vinyasa flow, with a posture to explore each week.
Yoga and Pilates are the two practices that appear most often, and meditation adds a quieter option for about a third of the classes.
Where and when to practice
Most of the classes start around noon, with 12:10pm among the busiest start times, and a smaller number follow in the early evening, with the latest start at 5:10pm. Monday, Thursday and Friday carry the most classes. Nearly all of the classes are taught in German.
The classes cluster in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont, Ahuntsic and Petite-Patrie. Yoga Sangha is the studio in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, and Mouvement Humain runs classes in the other three neighborhoods.
