How the week runs

The studio keeps a steady rhythm through the week. Most of its classes start in the morning, and a fifth begin before 9am, so an early session is easy to fit before the day begins. Evenings follow, with about a third of classes starting later in the day. Thursday, Friday and Tuesday are the busiest days.

Midday classes are fewer, with about one in ten starting at that time. Weekend sessions make up about a fifth of the schedule, so the studio works well for people who practice across the whole week.

What the classes focus on

Reformer classes make up the heart of the studio. Most of them focus on the core and pelvic floor, and more than half are strong in energy, so expect a sustained, working session. A smaller group leans into mobility and stretch, which can balance the strength work.

The class names reflect this mix. Reformer Full Body Flow and Reformer Core+Glutes build strength across the body, while Reformer Sculpt and Stretch and Reformer Essentials offer a fuller, balanced practice. Because the classes are consistent in structure, the studio suits people who want a clear, repeatable routine.

Generation Reformer: questions and answers

When do most people practice at Generation Reformer?

Most classes run in the morning, with more than half of the week starting before noon. A fifth start before 9am, and the earliest begins at 7am. Evenings are also well represented, with about a third of classes starting after 5pm and the latest starting at 7:15pm.

What kinds of classes are offered?

Nearly every class is Pilates on the reformer. Most focus on the core and pelvic floor, and more than half are billed as strong. A smaller group leans toward mobility and stretch, and examples include Reformer Full Body Flow, Reformer Sculpt and Stretch, Reformer Essentials and Reformer Core+Glutes.

How long are the classes?

Most classes last 50 minutes. Reformer Essentials is a longer 60-minute option, which can be a good way to settle into the rhythm of the equipment before a fuller session.

Who leads the classes?

Classes are taught by a team of about ten facilitators. Alexis Nobrega, Toni Sherwood and Trish Sherwood lead the most sessions, followed by Ludivine Leroux, Ming Ming, Olivia Benard and Mary Loup Rochefort.
