What the studio offers
Ember pilates runs well over a hundred classes in a typical stretch of weeks. Nearly all of them are pilates on the reformer. Where the studio also offers core and pelvic floor classes, or classes labeled strong and sweat, they sit alongside the main reformer sessions rather than replacing them.
The studio leans into the morning. More than half of its classes start in the morning, and about one in ten begins before 9am. The busiest start times are 9am, 10am, 11am and noon, which is when most of the week's practice gathers.
How the week runs
Classes run as early as 6:30am and as late as 7pm. Evening classes make up about a fifth of the schedule, and weekend classes are about a fifth as well. Monday, Tuesday and Friday carry the most sessions.
Most classes last 50 minutes, so a visit fits neatly into a lunch break or an early start. Ember pilates draws about ten facilitators, and a handful of studios share the reformer pilates scene across the area.
