What the studio offers
Stania Yoga leans toward yoga in its many forms, with hatha and pranayama appearing across the schedule. Restore is the most frequent theme in the class names, and many sessions work on tension in the neck, shoulders, hips and back. A few classes move with more energy, and the advanced practice asks for more effort and changes its challenge from week to week.
The studio also makes room for people at different points in life. Yoga einfach is shaped for people over 60 or those recovering from a difficult period, and Yoga für Schwangere is taught by a facilitator who has been a mother herself.
The shape of the week
Most classes take place in the evening, and the busiest start times are 5:45pm and 7pm. Morning classes begin as early as 8:15am and make up a smaller share of the week. Tuesdays and Fridays see the most activity.
Stania is the facilitator with the most classes, followed by Zuzana. Between them they lead the bulk of the schedule, and the studio has a small, steady team behind it.
Stania Yoga: questions and answers
Are there classes for pregnant women?
Yes. Stania Yoga lists a class called Yoga für Schwangere, and the facilitator Stania is a certified yoga teacher who writes that she is also a mother of two children. Most of the classes here are yoga, with a gentler focus on restore, back, hips and neck and shoulders.
Is Stania Yoga good for beginners?
Several classes are built for beginners. Erste Schritte im Yoga, entspannt starten introduces the basics in a gentle, easy-to-follow way, and Yoga einfach is designed for people over 60 or returning to movement after a long pause. Classes at this studio are generally listed for all levels or for first-timers.
When do most people practice here?
Most classes run in the evening, and more than half of the schedule falls then. The busiest start times are 5:45pm and 7pm, and the classes are most often held on Tuesdays and Fridays. A smaller share begins in the morning, with the earliest start at 8:15am.
How long are the classes?
Typical classes last about an hour. Some evening classes, such as Abend-Yoga (Präsenz), run longer, closer to 75 minutes, and the advanced yoga class is also 75 minutes.
What kind of yoga is taught?
The schedule centers on hatha-style yoga with breathwork and pranayama, and many classes focus on restore, release, sleep and calm. The advanced class, Yoga für Fortgeschrittene, is more intensive and changes its challenge each week, so it suits practitioners who already have some experience.
