What the classes feel like
The classes at oblique are built around movement. Flow sessions keep a steady rhythm, while o sculpt, o fit and o at the barre focus on strength and shaping. Strong classes carry the same intensity into a more demanding session, and the recorded class of the day offers a longer option that runs for an hour.
Most sessions last about 45 minutes, which makes them easy to fit before work. Oblique does not offer a pass for its classes, so each one is booked on its own.
How the morning runs
Nearly all classes take place in the morning, with the earliest starting at 8:45am and the latest at 10am. The busiest start times are 8:45am and 10am, and the studio's activity is concentrated on monday, tuesday and friday. Weekends and evenings are not part of the schedule.
The small team of facilitators, led by susan layne and emily kahn, keeps the morning sessions consistent from week to week.
