studio3 is a Pilates studio on Yonge Street in the Yonge-St. Clair neighborhood of Toronto, and reformer work is at the center of its week. Most classes are built around the reformer, with a smaller set on the mat and a few yoga sessions. Classes run mostly in the evening, and the room is set up for steady, focused work rather than large groups.

What the classes focus on
Reformer Pilates is the main thread here. Most classes use the reformer, and the series are grouped by level, from all levels up to level 2, so you can move up as your strength and control grow. Classes such as Be Grounded Flow and EmPower Flow are full-body sessions that focus on stability, endurance and mobility.
Beyond the reformer, Pilates for Life and Align and Activate use the mat, barrels and small props to teach activation and balance. These suit people who want the fundamentals of Pilates in a more accessible setting.
When and how the week runs
Most classes at studio3 take place in the evening, when about half of the week's sessions begin. The busiest start times are 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7pm and 9am, and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are the days when most classes are on the schedule. A smaller number of classes run at midday or in the morning, and weekend sessions are few.
The yoga class, End of Day Reset, is kept to a small group so the facilitator can give individual attention. It is a good choice if you want a quieter session after work.
